Why Do Humans Keep Getting Taller Over Time?

For my Audio story I will continue to dive deeper into the question: “Why do humans keep getting taller over time?” I previously posted a podcast which briefly discussed this topic. The podcast is featured below. If you have not heard it yet, give it a listen so that you can gain some more context about my audio story.

Experts:

Because of the nature of the question which my audio story revolves around, it will be highly beneficial for me to get input from some experts in the fields of science and history. One of the experts who I plan to interview is professor James Pampush. Professor Pampush is a biology and anthropology teacher at High Point University. I was a student in his anthropology class last semester and I am confident that he will bring something of great value to my audio story.

Intro Music:

My topic is very thought provoking, and no one has been able to come up with a definitive answer for the question I am proposing. With that being said, I want to use intro music that will match the tone of my topic and sound just as mysterious. The song that I plan on using is ironically titled “Nothing Will Grow Here” by Komiku. I found this track in the Free Music Archive.

Transition Music:

I am not sure if I will keep this song as my choice for transition music, but at the moment I think that it will fit nicely within the gaps of my audio story. This track is another free instrumental from Youtube, and is produced by Nine-Ease.

Background Music:

I want my Background music throughout the audio story to have a similar vibe, but I also want the music to be a bit more upbeat because I do not want to put my audience to sleep. I found a free instrumental track on Youtube by a producer named Chxse Bank. This instrumental has a spacey mysterious sound, similar to my intro song, but this one is more upbeat and also includes a greater variety of sounds.

Outro Music:

For my outro I chose a song called “We Are Headed to the East” by Springtide. Like my intro music, this song is also from the Free Music Archive. I plan on using this song for my outro because I feel it represents a conclusion. It sounds like a track that might play at the end of a movie, and I believe that it will be a great fit for the end my audio story.

Foley:

For my Foley sound I made a strange, vibrant sound by snapping a belt and adding a lot of echo to it, as well as other effects. I am not exactly sure how I would go about implementing this sound into my audio story, but I think it could possibly work as a cool sound during transitions to keep the listener interested.
